To our valued customers,
We wanted to take a moment and update you on what is happening with us at Mockingbird Lanes. With Governor Ricketts’ recent mandate to keep gathering sizes to no more than 10, we are not able to operate and are forced to close to the public until further notice. This was very sad news but unfortunately a necessary step to control the spread of Covid-19 and “flatten the curve.”
These are unprecedented times. Each league will likely require a unique ending to their season depending on the extent of our closure. We believe it would be a good idea to at least have a position round/roll-off to determine the champion of each league. This will need to be decided by each league with a league vote that also approves a modified payout. We would like to be able fit in some of the league season, even if it ends up being a very condensed version. Doing so will help us limit the extent of losses during this time and would be greatly appreciated. Please be assured that your league prize funds are safe. We operate our business using cash flows from operations, and we safeguard league prize funds.
Finally, thank you for your business. You are important to us and your continued patronage is never taken for granted. Be safe and stay healthy!

To All of Our League Customers
We want to first Thank You for your continued patronage throughout the years. We greatly appreciate your business! With the latest guidelines from the Federal government being extended until the end of April, it appears as though this fall/winter bowling season has come to an end. We will continue to work with league officers on this subject as each league may choose different options going forward. If a league would like to delay the end of their season in hope of performing a playoff of some type, we would gladly work with you to try to make that happen. We have had many officers contact us regarding league payouts, so we wanted to provide an update on how that will be managed.
The way a league payout is normally handled is to have everyone meet in the lounge so a prize payout sheet can be distributed, money paid out to each team, and the teams then divide the money between each of their bowlers. At this time, we are unable to do this as the bowling center is currently closed because of the social distancing rules set forth by the State. Also, we have many bowlers who might be considered "at risk" and we would never want them to risk their health by asking them to leave their house simply for a league payout. We also need to protect our customer’s/bowler’s interests and make sure all funds are properly distributed to everyone. Because of these reasons, payouts will be conducted once restrictions have been lifted and each league can properly meet at the bowling center. In the meantime, your secretary should be working on an end of year payout for the league and make that available to you to vote on.
We will continue to post on here, our website, and through League Secretary. We hope everyone stays healthy and safe. We look forward to seeing you all very soon!
